Double Din install in a Grand Prix?

I want to get the Alpine IVA-W505 for my car but looking at my dash I know there will be a little custom work needed. Has anyone ever installed a double din HU in a Grand Prix years 1997-2003? Or has anyone done any custom dashboard work that might be able to give me some pointers?

That looks like it just fits in there tighter than a Dolphins butt. I really want to get that nice, clean, supposed to fit in this type of car look. Thanks though, seeing this gives me a little more confidence that I can get this done.

if your willing to move the control for the AC and heat you can get it to look great. ive seen it done on clubgp as well im trying to find it for you. he moved the controls and made a panel around the unit. looked sick.
