I own 2 sets of Focal components 165W, (with 6.5 mid drivers) for my 4 doors in a Nissan Murano. The focals sound best in a 3/4 SF sealed enclosure according to the manufacturer. In trying to get the best sound in the doors, I will dynamat both sides of the doors. However, the door cavity is way too big for these drivers, and XTC Baffles way too small for the drivers. ANY IDEAS for me? Is it easy for an amature to make custom pods for my doors? Please help! Big Mike 1960.

I want the pods to be behind the door panel with drivers in factory location, not hanging out. Looking to make INTERIOR pods appx. 3/4 SF

I'm using XTC baffles and obviously the low end of the driver isn't so pronounced. Which is part of the reason I went 3 way. I have 10" XTC baffles I'm going to use for that part...lol

Yeah in the door will be tough but not impossible given you take in all variables. Pain in the *** yes but I wouldn't consider impossible yet. Not only will you be factoring depth your gonna have to work left to right on this one granted your still looking for functional windows.

AP in the kicks could help too. I know of the AP but not tremendously familiar.
