Door Panel question

just leave the wondow down to be sure. you can open it from the outside. just make sure your door locks, if power are still connected to the switches.

hmmm i dn if i wanna leave my window down on campus, i heard theres clips behind the door that u have to reach around to take off, how hard is this to do and how long did you guys take your first time doing it.

there is generally either clips that you can gently pull off or use a panel popper, (trim and upholstry tool), and they just pull straight out, after you pull all the screws out of it. looks for all the little cover trim pieces as their might be a screw behind it. it should come off very easy if everything is out of it, dont force it off. or you have the other kind of common door panel which lifts straight up and off.

alright i'm going to attempt this when i get out of work. For the speaker wires going through the door into the car is there something i should use. I heard something about a coat hanger a while ago.

I have been driving without an interior for about 6 months.
I have a dash and a driver's seat.

No door panels, passenger seat, A pillars, various trim pieces.
i think you should just turn it into a stock car. you are half way there.

if you dont have a molex connector, you can just un bolt the boots ends from the jamb and feed it through by hand. you can just use a big long zip tie to fish the speaker wire through the boot. its generally easier to feed the wire from the door to the car though.

alright thankz for the help. one more thing though, i read on this forum or another one im not sure where, but i glanced at a thread and they were talkin about how the speaker wire has to be the same length on each speaker or it will be delayed or won't sound right. How percise in ft./in. do you have to be if this is true?
