Don't think I have enough power

So I'm running 2 rocksford p3's with a cheap planet audio 1500w amp. The problem is when both subs are hooked up they sound bad but when only one is hooked up it sounds better. I'm assuming this is because more power is going to just one sub so it sounds better. Any suggestions on how to get both subs sounding good?

I wired both set of speaker wires on the negative and positive together, believe that's bridged. Should I not do that?

Hell I don't even know man

If you are driving your amp harder by using both subs at 1 ohm, instead of 2 or 4 ohms, you may be getting a serious voltage drop.

I have seen setups that are OK at 12V, but if you have a drop down below 11V it will distort or damage the amp. Check your voltage at the amp with a DMM.

Also, if you have not set your gain properly, you could be clipping your amp which can also cause distortion and damage the subs/amp/both.
