dont like my new setup

i got just bought a four re sx 15's from a guy at work after i hooked it up but something about it i dont like so im selling it as soon as i get back home its in a caprice but anyway do you guys think i should go with four ported 12's i think they will fit or two ported 15's?

im looking at the btl twelves or the t3 tss twelves what do yall guys think?

what's wrong with the SX? sounds like you have a crap box for it. that sub slams hard. just 1 ported (correctly) is pretty impressive.

I think you deff have em either in a wrong box built or a PoS prefab. Those sub's sound real nice.

i think the voice coils messed up on all four of the subs

yea you might have them out of phase 4 15" should take the trunk off check your wires and you did not say what amp you have maybe you need more powerrrrrrrr that always helps

i dont beleave wiring them out off phase is going to hurt much just make them sound like crap put a volt metor on the coils they dont lie if they test good rewire them the right way and what amp you have

i rewired them the right way but they sound like 10's instead of 15's and i put my two zx2500's on them

did you check the coils and if they are good and wired right you may need a better box but just test all coils with a dmm

They still play a little, just sound funny? Would you be willing to sale or trade them? I want the motors and/or baskets. Trying to learn how to recone subs
