well here is the deal. After a list of issues with my system install(I broke down and had a shop do it, as they had access to the tools to build a proper box for me) I still lack what seems to be quality bass. I'm not looking to win any comps, but I want a clear deep sound. I have the m312dvs from MCA in a bandpass enclosure vented into my cab and it seems to chirp at higher volumes. Not to mention the fact that bass sounds like shit(I think this could be the fault of the box more than the sub....the bass is really nasty at anything over 50hz). I'm looking to almost start again and have my cousin build my box(used to do it, has a wood shop in his garage). So the question lies, do I get a new sub or keep the M3? if so, I'm not looking to break the bank on a new sub, just want something that sounds good. i've seen the AA arsenal/assassin's recommended. the amp I would be using is the MCA500d, so if I go this route, would it be better to go SVC or DVC? I'm sure this is subwoofer dependent as well. I just plan on having a single 12, unless it is truly worth it to have two 12's being run by this one amp. thanx for your help.
