Trying to find the right burp box, turns out it likes the 3.5 ft3 the best. I built this 2.5 box hoping it would do better, turns out it didn't //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Also did a 4.5 for shits and giggles, too bad it didn't do better either, but it's a great daily box!

4" aeros, tuned to whatever I feel like, usually ~40hz daily.

I have a great box for my subs, too bad there's almost no way for the bass to get in the car. So now I gotta build a new one that has to be ported to this little opening I have into the car.

That sucks. I switched to a single 15" since I couldn't fit 2 12"s with the right box/tuning that I wanted.

Both of those boxes do ~142 at headrest. Only problem is, they don't do as well as the 3.6 box I first built.

It's also kind of hard to tune with my particular sub. Tuning 40hz yeilds a peak at ~32-33hz and tuning to 50hz peaks at ~45hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif It's just a particular property of the sub, but still kind of annoying.

Actually, there may be. I was thinking that my TL was lying to me. Say I tune my box to 50hz and do a sweep, sweep says the peak is at 45hz. I then play a song with a 45hz note, then try a song with a 49hz note. Even though the TL says 45hz is a peak, I get a higher score if I go with the 49hz song (right around tuning freq). Now I've got some tones so I'm going to experiment in the next few days.

I bulid them at home (live off east end). I get my cuts at Home Depot on Westport Rd. every Monday around 4-5PM. There's an old guy named Jim that does AMAZING cuts, I mean this guy is never off, maybe a 1/16" on one piece, but that's good enough.
