what's the smallest i can make a box for 2 15' subs? I have a good amount of room, but not as much as i would like ... how small would you go? thanks in advance

im gonna have to recommend sealed if you are cramed for space.

i have two l7's (1000 watt rms a piece) and im using the hercules from hifonix (2000 watt rms) ... i think im gonna make a custom box to fitthe contour of my trunk ... any where on this site that shows you what materials are best for making a box?

yes you have to search for them but i will list them for you

3/4in medium density fiberboard

a circular saw or table saw

jigsaw or router

woodglue liqued nails elmers it doesnt matter

silicone to seal the box

carpet or vinyl or paint to finish off the box or leave it bare wood if you want

a sharp pencil

screws like 1.5-2inches they should be like 3 inches apart from eachother

a screw gun and countersink bit

speaker wire

speaker terminals or just drill a hole through the box run the wires through and put silicone around it

polyfill aka polyester fiberfill for a sealed box you dont use it for a ported box im pretty sure i think it is 1lb for 1cubic ft

and black spray paint or whatever color you want to spray the port area if it is a ported box

and maybe sandpaper

there ya go there is the stuff you need
