Just face your subs to the rear and turn your gain down some. There's a lot of energy lost when you face subs forward making you have to turn up your gains and causing more strain to your amp. The only way facing forward works is when you wall your car with a complete seal.
You shouldn't be turning your gain up at all. If you set the gain just before clipping, you have no room to turn the gain up. Face the subs so they sound the best but where you place the sub doesn't effect the amp in any way, shape or form.

Either way I had them positioned I am far from clipping, besides the taramps amp has the little clipping light.
The reason for me moving them around is to cut down on the rattle.
Guess imma start laying down some second skin to deaden some of the noise. Just so damn hot right now it's miserable to work in the small space. It's 95 degrees outside daily until October lol
