Does Second Skin & DIYMA deserve to get sued for libel?

I'm assuming the guy is mad because somebody came on your site and spoke their mind about how they had a such a bad transaction with him. Then a lot of others come around and mention how they too have had a bad transaction with him and how he is such a jerk.

You did keep it on your site however i feel it was only because there was so many negative transactions against him and you didnt want anymore people to get screwed or have to put up with him so no i do not feel you should be held libel.

I am not reading all of that but are you amapro704? I have been on and ran many forums over the years and can tell you it is only libel if the information is incorrect. Providing you are posting the truth and not spreading malicious lies about someone you can not be charged with such a thing.

However if you have an attorney on retainer it might not be a bad idea to toss him a letter telling him to go fuck himself which usually shuts them up as 99.999% of threats on the internet are just people full of shit who they they are badasses and like to throw the 'lawyer' word around.

Oh I did not realize you ran the forum, again public domain and the truth. If the douche was going to sue anyone it would be the OP in which case you would get a cease and detest order from a lawyer.

I don't think he has the grounds to sue DIYMA or SecondSkin honestly. It is a public forum, and people voiced their opinions. You have no control over that. Well, you do, but you shouldn't have to censor people to protect his rep. That's my opinion.
