Sob

on-site repair ftw? though if it was brand new I would probably just bring it back myself rather than waiting a week.
You sure it's not a setting issue?
Nah it is definitely the tv,so ordered a samsung to replace it ,so when amazon brings the new one they will pick up this crap

Sharp has turned into shit. We've got a Sharp 46D64U 1080p lcd and a LG 720p Plasma. Picture is way better on the LG.

We also bought a Sharp BD-HP21U Blu ray player on boxing day ( think black friday, but right after Christmas) did a firmaware update on it, and still can't watch some movies that were released in November. Wall-E and Prince Caspian are two of the ones not playable until another firmware update, which people have been waiting 2 months for.

If I had known this shit I would have spent the $20 more and gotten the Samsung, and ended up being able to watch all my movies and had BD-live.

make sure you speakers are set to on in the menu
also

you shouldnt be using those speakers with a tv that large, you should have atleast 5.1
They are fucced, its the speakers and not a setting and I understand about a theater system but thats besides the point,I paid a grand for a brand new tv and I want it to work
