Does my Big 3 look ok?

yes. it's easier than it looks. there should be a threaded hole, but if not, you can drill one and make threads with a tap set or use a nut, washer and bolt. make sure you clean the metal up good.
So just remove the bolt and add your wire in and leave the stock ground?

heres where i grounded mine....if you look in your passenger side tire well you see 2 holes in the frame with 2 big *** bolts in them.....

i unbloted one of them with a 3/4 deep well socket and hooked the wire like this underneath....

**** it never looked so rusted when i was under it....a 03 too!! F Florida!
Michigan does worse things to your car, humid and hot in the summer, with ice and snow in the winter mixed with road salt, it is bad, lol.

it's all grounded there from the factory. battery and block. it's worked just fine on my previous sonoma and my current s-10.
mine wasnt grounded there:(

can you show me where u r talking about? mine was factory grounded battery to chassis up under the front grill.

yep. i tapped mine out to accomodate a larger bolt, but you don't have to.
Sounds good, thanks for all of the help. You put both the batt and engine ground to that spot right? Also I just want to know if what I have will work for now as I need to get new ring terminals as the one wire I used is obviously not long enough now.

yes. put both grounds in the same spot. make sure your ring terminals are secure and there's no chance of anything coming loose. that could really mess things up.

Just to make sure, there is nothing wrong with what I did except for the ground point? Like I said, after I did this it stalled twice and it had never stalled on me before so I want to make sure its ok.

you weren't getting a good ground where you had it before. probably stalling from losing power. make sure the metal on the frame is clean underneath your terminal rings on your ground. use sand paper or a grinder to clean it before fastening your grounds to it.

my voltage went haywire for a lil while too when i did mine....something weird with GMs i think...after a day it was good. think it may have something to do with the computer/throttle position sensor not having power while you worked on it for so long...

I was thinking that actually, as my check engine light was on, but since it was unpowered for so long that reset. It is going in to a dealer for service tomorrow on the light and to get the Emergency Brake working again, lol.
