Does anyone know how much HP I can gain?

Yep I would go for 2.5. 3" is out the question and unless you spend most of you time in the 5000 to 7000 rpm range, there is no point, A large diameter exhaust like 3" will lose more backpressure because you don't have enough exhuast flow to push. say even if you had 300 rwhp i would still go with 2.5", if it was turbo/supercharged then I would do 3". and cutting off your cat/or cats will not get you 20 rwhp:laugh: not on a 3.0L, a full mandrel bent exhuast with header would. Hell I drive a 85 dodge ram with dual exhuast and it is only 2.5.

It don't matter because I have a racecar 1.8L Dohc and I put 3 " and I race in 6000-7400Rpms the whole time and went to 2.5 pipeing and seen an increase in power output. I am not just baseing this on one experience but i reasearched it for a couple days to see what was best.

Thats all you have to say well doesn't look like you have anything better say, or let alone anything to input in this thread and you are calling me a retard. you just agree with what everyone else says, makes you look smart, or just put your smart *** comments in when they aren't needed.

wow...why doesnt the world and stop for you? 3" is only needed for turbos...I am gonna guess your runnning like a B18 (B1/C1 dont know which one if you are running the B series) or something along those lines of a 1.8L

"it dont matter because I have a racecar" well shit my pants and call me uncle.. english > you

he's probably got a scion xB with some extra displacement

and anyone who considers an integra a racecar is retarded (assuming thats what he has, im guessing hes too stupid to figure out how to do a swap, or have a conversation with someone about doing it for him)

It isn't an integra it is a escort gt with a mazda 1.8L Dohc it is a BP06, I didn't mean for it to come out as 3" is only for turbos, but i would go 3" if I had a turbo. And It was a stock class and oval track not drag racing or street racing, maybe I should have said more about it before you jump all over me. and there is limits as to horsepower and toque and wheel base so that is what we raced.

And like ****en hell I would drive a scion, maybe off a cliff...

Back to the topic the most you should see from an exhuast is 15 hp, with that displacement.

Everyone who told him to go with 3" is a moron..

You can actually go to big when it comes to this, on on a little 3.0l 3" is definatly to big, its pushing to big on my 352 camaro.

Once you go to big like your going to with that 3" your going to lose back preasure in the muffler, and lose hp all around.. have fun
