Do you think I need a good battery now?

I just bought 2 12" Rockford R1 and an R500.1 amp today, I planned to install it along with my old Phoenix gold zx450 4 channel and 2 sets alpine 6.5 type R speakers. Do you think this is too much for my factory battery to handle?

Thanks Wingman0121, I'm thinking about buying a deep cycle optima batter "YellowTop Group 51R (Reversed Post) Dual Purpose (Deep Cycle & Starting)"

are you in the air force?

Doesn't hurt to have a more robust battery, if you buy one you'll also know it hasn't been drained because standard batteries can only be drained once or twice before they're no good anymore, a bad battery strains your alternator too.
what?????

I've had batteries in diff cars drain completly multiple times and they've been fine for years..

Draining a non deep cycle does indeed hurt it. Every time they fully drain and are recharged, they never recharge back fully. Will a couple 2 or 3 times kill a batt? No. But it would certainly contribute to it not lasting 'years and years', nor performing fully during the time it does last.

Do you think Optima battery is good to run my system?
