funny. both my wife and I work on the air force base here (govmt positions).I don't try to hide them, but yet I don't try to put them out for everyone to see, if that makes sense. I work for Air Force Security Forces as a contractor at my work place - so I am on a military installation for one and two I work for the cops on said base so I have no issues there, when out and about on the town, I play loud and hard unless I am near my destination and I play it coy and quiet.
I have no mids/highs to show at the moment, unfortunately.... but will soon enough. This applies to my subs at the moment.
Altus or Tinker? Barksdale is not bad, but there is really no scene here.funny. both my wife and I work on the air force base here (govmt positions).
tinker, in good ole midwest cityAltus or Tinker? Barksdale is not bad, but there is really no scene here.
Awesome, a couple B1 crew chief friends of mine were stationed there (we were stationed at Ellsworth together). (I was a B1 defensive avionics troop when I was enlisted from 99-2005).tinker, in good ole midwest city
I work on the b1, actually. how funny. (if you werent aware tinker is the depot maintenance for the b1, along with other large planes)Awesome, a couple B1 crew chief friends of mine were stationed there (we were stationed at Ellsworth together). well, I can cover them with grille cloth no matter the location, its really more a cosmetic code at this time. im currently thinking ill just build some removable grillesI hide them without a doubt. If someone were to steal it, they'd do it just because you have something, regardless of whether it's good or not. Some $150 speakers can look similar to $1000 speakers. Though I think, if you're going for SQ, positioning matters more, so if you have to have them in sight...then do it.
Hells yes (you being a B1 maintainer, knew Tinker was Depot level maint). Lee Robinson, looks like Kazaam!! He is still stationed there.I work on the b1, actually. how funny. (if you werent aware tinker is the depot maintenance for the b1, along with other large planes)
you obviously didnt comprehend what I posted. like I said, I can cover them or leave them open no matter the location. im well aware of where and how they should be placed.Aesthetics are then 2nd to performance. Place them where they will sound best.
hmm what shift?Hells yes (you being a B1 maintainer, knew Tinker was Depot level maint). Lee Robinson, looks like Kazaam!! He is still stationed there.

We all live in different towns with different people. You cant pretend to know his or anyone else's environment. Where im from. All commerce and fun things(movie theaters, dance halls, ect) are downtown. Right past downtown is a ghetto side of town. If you have a nice A-pillar set up thats clearly visible. Id bet my bottom dollar It'd get stolen. Thats just how things go here. Car theft is the #1 crime here. Then meth related crimes. Salem, Oregon fucking *****.Seriously @ people think that leaving speakers exposed would result in car theft? This is speakers which will be mounted on the doors..which makes it pretty hard to see unless you have your door open. The vehicle doesn't even sound like a daily driver and sits in the garage. The main thing that I'm concern about hiding are amps/sub/boxes/head-unit.
I vote fiberglass onto the door without the black grill. Looks really clean. Picture that massivespl posted doors are hot.
