do subs hit louder on hiphop?

k i listen to all types of music...alternative rock, house, and hiphop...but when i listen to hop hop my subs hit harder....like does hiphop have more in bass in their songs? my system sounds good though..im not complaining...i like how it...i just always wondered bout this

Rap song do typically call for a bigger bass output, yes. That's not to say other songs don't have ridiculous amounts of bass, either. That's like saying "are all v8's faster?" They aren't; a subaru wrx sti (4 cylinder turbocharged) could outrun several v8 powered cars.

You can't oversimplify.. but in general, yes, rap songs are recorded with more bass.

rap and hip hop usually is recorded with overemphasized bass frequencies, especially strong drum beats and sine waves. That's pretty much the entire point of rap.

I listen to almost any type of music, and if you do put a country channel on and listen to it for a few min through a few songs the newer stuff not like 80's early 90's etc isnt bad at all and I find it actualy gets lower and sounds better doing it than most hip hop

That's too bad. You still won't hear this type of music on my setup... no matter how hot she looks. I'll turn off the music and kick her out of the car if she tries it. Country music is the only genre of music I can't stand. Oh well, such is life. You can find a ton of low end in almost anything. Even in classical or opratic musical compilations.

its not hip-hop its rap.... Rap is the music hip-hop is the culture

anyways yea rap does emphasize the lower frequencies as well as the high hat cymbal.
