i was a big weight lifter for years. i've gotten lazy. i think it's stress.

i noticed that workin out even help with things like stress. and i just felt happier as well too. things didnt bother me.... didnt really notice while i was workin out. but after i stopped i noticed how different i felt when i was in shape and did alot of exercise.

yes i know what u mean i work in this ware house making 10.81 a hr while i have to work over night i get paid the lowest b/c the company wants to pay me for what i made at my made at my other jobs not by my experience while everyone else here is making 15-17 dollars a hr and they so the same thing as me! how ****ed up is that so i am always trading shifts with people to work more hrs and shit i usally get about 60-70 a week but also note i have to drive a hr to work and a hr home plus i am a college student with parents that cant hlpe pay bills for me it sucks ***

1. When working at circuit city the first isle closest to the door was "ipod/mp3" which had a big sign over it that said "IPOD/MP3" not only was the sign right there, the stuff on the shelves was in plain sight. Well when there was the huge IPOD craze atleast 4 people a day would ask me "where are the ipods" at first it wasnt bad as time went on it got frustrating. After awhile I would just point up to the signs and they would look up there and then id say "you see the one thats says ipod & mp3? theyll be right under there." Im pretty amazed no one ever got really pissed off usually they would say ohh im so sorry i didnt even see that, or laugh and say they didnt see the sign.

2. Once again when working at circuit city this was in south texas. Lots of mexicans looking to haggle and get deals. They would come in and ask a price you would tell them. They would then say "ahhh you give to me for $____?" or "can you give me discount?"

Another that got old was when someone was told "we'll call you when your car is done" and the person would call who knows how many times to "check the progess of their car" within that time. When really it was a quick install the wait was just having to actually get to that car.

As for co-workers....kinda long i guess

Once again while at circuit city we got this new assistant manager that was pretty much a dick. I was scheduled to work during the week at 5 bc of my schedule w/ school. Id show up everyday at 4:15-4:30. It wasnt worth the time to leave school,go home for a bit, then go to work and get stuck in traffic. I was fairly known for always being there way early as in the sense of people jokinly giving me hell about it telling me I was crazy for showin up that early etc..Sounds irrelevant now but it ties in later. I usually sat in the back watched some tv & ate my "lunch". Usually id walk out to the shop 10min till 5 and when the time came id clock in. Consistantly this was 2-3 minutes early and there had never been a problem with me calling in sick,being late etc. Yet this other guy that I worked with would CONSTANTLY call in sick, be late, try to leave early, and all sorts of stuff and he never heard a word. So one day im on my way to the shop from across the store to clock in with about 5 to spare. I stopped and took a leak. Before I went to clock in this assistant manager talks to me. Nothing important just hey whats up, how you doing today whatever. I go clock in and on the computer screen it shows 5:01. He comes over to me and says "what time were you supposed to be here" I said "5" he then walks off and comes back and hands me a paper telling me read it and sign it. I finish clocking in and check out this paper it was the "attentance and some other bs policy" I go over to him and said "whats this about" says "you were supposed to be here at 5 and the computer showed 5:01" sign that paper and take it up front and youre getting written up for being late...The next day I put in my 2wks notice. I was very tempted to walk out that second that happened considering one way or the other I wasnt going to be there much longer as I was leaving for school. What cracks me up though is if he didnt stop me and talk to me I would have been "on time", its not like I was running late for sleeping in or some bs I had been at the store for the last 30 min, and is 1 minute really a big deal?

its not so so bad i t is but its not i sleep about 5 hrs a day and its not all at the same time i usally get 3 1/1/2 - 2 hrs naps becaus ei have to take my gf to work i am use to it now but i also dont take 12 hrs of school i usally take about 6 or 9 hrs which i am going to take 12 hrs as soon as i ge tmy fafsa soon then i will not work as much caus ey **** money is going to school u know school is not cheap and with parents being poor and not wanting to help me well my mom just wont help me my dad id poor there divorced anyways i just have it hard u know but i am hoping when i grad i will be better off

topic: i deliver newspapers part time - ha ha laugh but i make $$ - anyway its in a mostly older white neighborhood in stuart, fl. lots of transplants and snowbirds, most tip good, but theyre so **** spoiled. they complain about their ppr being too far down the short *** driveway, to far to one side, to far from the door, in the grass, ON THE ROOF.. one man tells me to toss it high in the driveway cause the morning walking gang throws his paper on the roof if its on the sidewalk. keep in mind i get charged 1 dollar per complaint. it's fun rockin the plaintiffs (most are repeats) garage doors with sunday papers @ 3am tho.

My work doesn't really care about me being 2-6 min. late, thank god.Just one person does, and it's jokingly.Sometimes even the managers run a little late.If they do care, they haven't talked to me about it yet.I remember one day I was half an hour late because my alarm clock shorted out or something? So I go in, apologize and get to work.My manager said it was ok, good morning, blah blah small talk.Didn't hear anything about it ever again.Then someone was 20 min. late and the manager pulled him into the office and wrote him up.

I'm blessed with VERY cool managers.There's not all this fine print bull shit when it comes to policy.Granted there ARE policys, but they aren't that bad or the managers don't care.For the most part, anyone who works there for more than a month is cool.The assholes, whiney *****es, etc. don't last long at all.

There is one chick that treats me like shit, but I don't even care.For the most part everyone is chill.Come to think about it, I really like my job.Good pay, easy job, cool managers, cool co-workers (for the most part), decent schedule.

my job actually isnt too bad considering i work in factory and on overtime days i work with the other shift, so i work with a lot of different people. alot are native spanish speakers but my spanish is improving, i learn a lot from them. i'm pretty laidback and just go with the flow so its rare when someone actually does piss me off at work.

i dont mind having to bust my *** to cover someone who is trying and learning as they go, or even stupid people who will never learn but just can't help being stupid. what will piss me off in a hurry is having to bust my *** to cover people that can do their job but are just lazy.

i used to get pissed off at the machine, running a 15 million dollar binder and figuring out the extremely complicated computers that monitors and control it while trying to make 100,000 nice looking national geographics a shift, and having to be responsible for 6 other people can be pretty stressful. especially doing 12 hour shifts. after a few months i got it down pretty well, i basically come in the first day of the week, spend an hour or two getting the machine rolling since the other half of the week's operators are morons, then have time to help people out the rest of the day. the operator i alternate with on my side of the week is good, so we hand it off to each other still running well. usually spot problems pretty quick, i'd say i make pretty easy money now that i'm good at it.
