Do I need to get an external gain knob?

This might be a really dumb question but I'm not seeing a knob that's labled gain. Is there another name for it or am I gonna have to get a one that plugs in?

I have the boss r2504. Before you start laughing. It is my first time putting a system in the correct way and I don't know a lot about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Leave that bass boost off! I added a PAC LC-1 bass knob to my taramps, allows for the gain/Input to be set before clipping, but allows you to adjust that on the fly while driving with people who don’t want full tilt music all the time
