here is what i have

1. 2 orion hcca d2400 amp 800rms at 2ohm and 1200 at 1ohm, im gonna do 2 ohm each

2. 2 eclipse sw9122 ti 750rms 1500peak

3. 1 v12 alpine 1507 4 channel mid

4. 1 farad cap

5. alpine deck 9856

6. yellow top optima

7. 4 guage wires

alt. stock, will this system drain my optima battery and dimp my lights. trying to hook up 1 orion to 1 eclipse each.

do i need to upgrade my wires to 1/0 awg, or will 4 work? and im playing on doing the big 3 also.

and what fuse should i use, from the battery to the back, right now i have 100a

what others things should i get, to get this system running it powers, so it wont drop under 12v.

and thanks everyone that help appreciate

i had the eclipse hook up at 4 ohm before with the alpine v12 1507 and i turn up the volume to atleast 18 19 and it shut off. it was barly pushing 300watt each sub, and the light dim also, so i bought two orion amp.

how do i wire up another battery. do i wire the back battery - and + to the front, do i need fuse holder? and is it best to wire same battery or can i wire a yellow top and a red top optima battery together? or i just get a batcap or a kin hc600? thanks

u need a fuseholder, its just like wiring up an amp. Power from the front batt to the back batt. ground from the front batt or from the chassis in the back. u can buy my batt for 110 shipped to your house. pix of the top in my gallery to the left

With that much power I'd run 1/0. Or 2 runs of 4g.

To clarify, you stated that when you ran the Eclipse subs off the alpine amp the amp would shut off on you due to voltage drop, and now you're going to add 2 orion 800RMS amps on top of the alpine now running your mid/highs?

If you're car was already having issues with just the Alpine amp, then just adding an extra battery isn't going to help. Plan on upgrading your alternator.

after u wire the battery together, then add another wire from the back battery to the amps? and can i wire up a yellow top and a red top together?

from what i was told it shut off was because the amp was too weak to handle two eclipse. the shop said to get a better amp. one big one or two good ones. the alpine was a 4 channel amp. with was bridgable. one big one or two good ones.

i have a 1995 honda accord ex, with custom fiberglass box for each sub.

im thinking of changing my old 4g to 1/0 g and do the big 3.

what alternator do i need if i have to upgrade?

good question.... go fish. There should be plenty of alternator choices for you with your older model honda, just type in high output alternator in google and it will pull up some big distrubuters. Honestly tho, you really dont need a real big alternator for your system. maybe 90 amps would do you more good than anything. Whats the output on your current alternator?

stock so it should be 90amp at 12v,

so 90 amp should be good then, i'll just go buy a new one to replace it, i dont know how long since the alternator been in that car. just bought it for only a year now. but it does look dirty

what is a good battery also, i heard batcap 800 is good, what about kinetik hc800 or hc600 which one is better.

You run 1/0 back to your new battery. There should be an inline fuse at the front battery and also at that back battery for short protection on both ends. You can kind of see my back fuse on the bottom left of the picture. The ground you only need to run from the back battery as close as possible to a body ground, not to the front battery (mine runs to the safety belt bolt).

I am selling the battery pictured //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If you want, I can include the fuse holder/dist block and the dist block as pictured for say another $50 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
