I would shoot for 200 + amps and couple decent sized batteries.

My father in law has a 2500 d-max as well, his alty is 160 amp, stock. I think its because of the charging 2 batteries, an ac outlet in the bed, and all kinda other shit.

yeah i would go with the big 3, well big 6 and upgrade both bats and you should be good
