Do I have the electrical for 2000 watts?

I'm currently running a 220 amp alternator with a stock battery and the big 3 performed with rockford 0 guage wiring. I am running a hifonics brz1700 and I have an alpine 300 watt 4 channel amp on the way for my highs. Will my car be able to run this without frying my HO alt? Or should I downgrade to a 1200 watt amp for the subs?

Ok, thanks for all the input guys. I will be upgrading the battery in the future but with the price of the amp and highs i just bought I didnt want to have to do it right away

I also have a BXI2006D laying around...2k watts at 1 ohm...if I were to ever switch out the 1700 for this...still enough? ( someone is offering me more than I paid for the BRZ1700)

Actually seeing that the HC600 is only 65 shipped, Im going to buy it. 2300 watts on a HO alternator, stock battery and HC600. Good setup?

Ive heard adding a kinetik/xs battery will actually increase the sound quality of your amp/subs. True or not?>

No this will not affect sound quality. Nothing power related really affects sound quality, just if you have a lack of power you won't be getting everything out of the subs that they can handle, and you'll be starving your amps of the power they require which isn't really a good thing. Having proper electrical is very important, but it doesn't have as much to do with sound quality so far as I know. Unless the quick discharge from a nicer battery helps the amplifier somehow produce a better signal, but even so won't do much.
