DNX8120 Screen Angle Problem?

Gday all, and sorry for my first post being a question, but ive purchased a 8120 from the USA, but there is a problem with the screen position when set to '0' in the memory.

The angle is a few degree's off, with the bottom of the screen sitting out slightly, not flush as it should be.

When i open and close it after loading a dvd etc. it closes to the flush vertical position, but then immediately the bottom pops back out as mentioned.

The problem is that after turning off, it should return to the memorized '0' position, but it is still slightly open.

Ive tried all sort of resets, but no good.

Sending back to the US from Australia for repair is not an option, so im hoping someone may be able to advise if there is a way to adjust this angle slightly.

try resetting the unit with the master reset....

on the remote you can angle also

Yes, tried that.

Even went into the master menu settings...ATT and SRC pressed, then reset, and alot of options come up including Tilt Adjust, tried that, screen goes all the way out and in and then a popup says 'NG adjust', but dont know what that is or how to do it?

Get out of that menu and its still the same.

Yes, other positions with the remote work fine, but when powering off, it goes the the set '0' position, but then pops out slightly instead of sitting flush.

My ddx812 did that for some unknown reason a few weeks ago. After a few times of shutting it off when I turned my truck off, it just set itself back to 0 angle.

Have you tried pulling power from the unit completely?

try calling kenwood and see if they can help

if they cant help there may be Kenwood repair shop close
