Here is the System Im planning

1- Kenwood DDX712 Deck

2- 10" Kicker Comp shallow mount subs

2- 12" Alpine Type R SWR-1242D Subs

4- 6 1/2 Alpine SPR-17S for the Mids and highs

1- Lanzar VIBE276 2ch. 2400w Amp for the 12" subs

1- Lanzar VIBE266 2ch. 2000w Amp for the 10" subs

1- Lanzar VIBE416 4ch. 1000w Amp for the mid/high

I was wondering what are your thoughts on my battery situation with the amps?

1. How many Capacitors should I get? How many Farad?

2. Do I need an extra Battery?

3. Should I upgrade to a HO Alternator?

The vehicle is a 2005 Cadillac Escalade Base Model

I'am new here so any advice would be Greatly Appreciated

Ok, why do you want 2 10'' and 2 12'' subs? Or are you choosing between them?

If you're wanting to run both at the same time, don't. That's what midbass speakers are for. I'm assuming you think the 10's will add the punchier bass, but it won't, midbass is for the punchier higher frequency bass.

The amps, you should save your money, and go through the classifieds here in the forums, you will find MUCH better quality stuff, for cheaper. Some are new and used, but you can find GREAT deals here.

You do not need a capacitor. You do need another battery, however. Stinger spv-70 batts go for 100 or so here. A h/o alt would be good to have, but can be pricey. I'd buy one incase you plan on upgrading to a bigger system later on.
