DLS A3 Feedback?

Any feedback on this amp is appreciated. I know nobody that has even heard of this company but I did some research on it and it appears to be a HQ amp. I just picked up a DLS A3 for $100. I see on google there are 2 versions of the pcb. Mine is the one with the gold coated bus bars or whatever you call them on the pcb. I never seen such detail in quality on a board and there own CAPS! Its a dual mono block. Would this be a good amp for powering a sub or more for mids ? Its not all that powerful spec wise at 4 ohm to 2 channels but I believe the specs are underrated. I am building 2 systems currently. I did a search and could not find much feedback on this amp here.

dls is a decent company, they make nice amps... whats the model number?

only thing it says on the bottom cover is a sticker that says DLS symbol ultimate a-series, A3 The Twin I assume monoblock its scratched, CE a product from dls Sweden with a Swedish flag

woah, 140amp draw! Looks like Ill need a battery or 2. So this is on par if not better than a JL 1000/v2? I see it has a nice damping factor. Ill probably use it as a subwoofer driver since the power increases so much on 1 channel at 1.33 ohm. But why 1.33? I wonder why not a 1ohm full like most amps. Glad I passed up on the JL 1000/v2 for $450 for this.

That DLS is a much better amp than the JL especially the A series, but both have their places.

Yeah but for price $450 vs $100, I did not loose. Some specs are better on the JL while others on this is better, But the 2 are different breeds. Class D vs a/b. I thought this was a D. The internals of the JL look impressive. But again price. Thanks for the insight. Anyone else want to throw in there 2 cents on impedence? Has anyone ran this at 1ohm ok? Ill have to get a resistor to up it to 1.33 if not. Im not taking any chances on this amp.

DLS specs on this are under rated by a good bit.

If you tune your amp right and after all of the dynamics of music and imp rise you will be above 1 ohm.

Could not be happier to here this. The seller im glad I took it off his hands. I also got a 500k cap a 12" ported box and a god awful p miller 12" sub with the deal. This amp needs a nice ascendant audio sub on it. P. Miller/bazooka sub he was using to this amp, LMFAO No wonder why I had to reglue the spider back on. I used that gross thing on my garbage amp.
