DIY active 3-way driver recomendations????

I am planning a new build and I want to run an active 3-way set up.

I'm new to the whole active thing but have been told by more than a few people that building my own 3-way is the way to go.

My available power is

50x2 rms for the tweeters

100x2 rms for the mids

200x2 rms for the midbass

I am at a loss when it comes to choosing raw drivers. Any recomendations?

Or would lossing the 50x2 and running a higher quality 2-way active set be a better bet?

I'm trying to spend under $600 on the speakers if that helps.

you ought to get my OZ Matrix Elites...lol
I wouldn't mind having them but one of the reasons I'm doing a diy 3-way is so I can buy the drivers one pair at a time. I have a family to take care of so I will never have $600 all at once.haha

The dls 3" mid is very nice, vifa xt25's have stellar reviews. The hybrid audio technology stuff has had a lot of buzz recently. There is always the choice of buying dyn or dls raw drivers. And Seas makes some very nice things as well.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, I want to run active, and I have investigated it, just don't think it is something I am ready to jump into just yet.

That being said, what combo/combos would you recommend for an active 2-way set up.

With a budget of $600 and 100x2 for the tweets an 200x2 for the mids??
