divider in a box?????

OK I just bought a box for two JL 10W3v2-D2's and the box is 1.8 cu. ft. The only thing is is the box does not have a divider in it. Is this a bad thing? I have never had a box that did not have a divider in it. Is it ok not to have a divider? I would appreciate anybodys comment about the box.
