anybody got any ideas on where else to place this amp? I only got an inch between the amp and the backseats, so when my seats are up, they sit almost on top of the amp. I was originally thinking about an extra MDF plate under the amp for more support and less vibrations, but dont got much room.

Mount the amp on the side of the box near the battery. And if you turn the box around to have the ports face back, it should sound better and be a little louder.
port back subs up was the first thing i did. The port was only a couple inches from my tailgate and this loud irratating voice came from the tailgate everytime the subs hit. So i had to switch it up.....

if you absolutely must put it on the box due to room, put it on mdf and use soom rubber spacers between the box and board.
I'll most likely slap another piece of MDF with some cushion and rubber spacers

you're running tons of power to a beefy setup, shit's gonna vibrate anyway you cut it. Go in there with some duct tape and/or foam and psuedo deaden it.

i had a slimular problem with my kx2500.1 where the belly of the amp would slap the box since the only screws holding it down were the outside corners. buy some foam weather stripping with adhesive on one side and stick those to the back fo the amp. it'll keep the parts that the screw points cant really help....

If you are getting 'voices' played through your subs, your xover settings are fvcked up.

i'm not getting noise from the amp slapping to the box, but i'm doing it to ensure less vibrations of the amp.

I bought too much deadener than i needed, so i doubled up on the tailgate and major areas such as the rear top and bottom along with the door panels....These panels on the blazers are flimsy like no other.

i should have said noises. I did not say the subs were making this noise, the slapping tailgate is. So i flipped the box around and took down backseats....
