Do you have the bass remote plugged in? If so, disconnect it.

You dont need a beefed up alternator, just some good batteries.

Did you check wiring phase of the subs and If you are connected to sub output of the headunit then you need to turn it up. Just push the volume knob button and turn it up. Or connect to rear outputs.

nope. never used a bass knob, never will.

just swapped out the XXV colossus with the one I purchased from Optimus Prime and it works like a charm. Ohmload on each channel is showing 1.2-1.3. Resting voltage on both batteries are 12.65. Don't know whats wrong with the other one, but I will eventually have it repaired. Will post up pics later on tonight!! Thanks for the help fellas

ummm, they might want to see proof of purchase and the price he paid, doubt he got a receipt...

nah, the amp was purchased from someone in Chicago. I'll be heading over his house sometime tonight to either A) get a refund B) have him test this paperweight in his car. I'm just puzzled on why the amp didn't go into protect or show any signs of it being "blown", if that was the case. I did a direct drop in with Optim's amp and it worked fine.
