IIRC, this happened to eD customers at some point too. I still feel sorry for all those people whom have purchased TC 5200's.
...and putting a order down for some amps on your credit card doesn't exactly mean you ever had the capital to pay off your endeavor in the first place. Just means you better be fucking lucky and not have any board defects and pray to god that you make a few bucks back.

It is not like the cost is all that much, I know when I looked into China subs and Korean amps I could easily cover opening shipments and tooling out of pocket with no issues. Hell, it was far cheaper then buying a car lol.

It is not like the cost is all that much, I know when I looked into China subs and Korean amps I could easily cover opening shipments and tooling out of pocket with no issues. Hell, it was far cheaper then buying a car lol.

I still might end up doing a line of subs and amps of my own, but id feel much better if I had the cash to pay for at least most of it up front.

I dropped the China idea and am in the process of US designs. Should have several prototypes very soon. If all goes well then I will be going that direction. I want to do amps, but the market is overly flooded with amps as it is right now, but it is still playing around in the back of my mind.

I talked to thilo about 2 sizes 10" and 12" using there "OEM" platform driver but with rohacell cones and stitched surrounds. 40k would get me 50 10's and 50 12's.... I'm paying $400 for them so after I marked them up to make some money no one would buy a $450-475 10" driver
