Is someone can expline in details how digital TA is accomplished via DSP?

is it make changes to the original bit stream (like digital crossover and digital volume control do)

or it only send the original bit stream at different times to the DAC without and changes to the original stream?

Thanks

whoah....wut?

All DSP is/should be done in the digital domain prior to arriving at the DAC's, that is, its a digital process. It wouldn't be sent to the DAC then reprocessed to digital then reconverted to analog.
