Digital Response speakers???

Has anybody heard of the brand Digital Response? I found a set of loudspeakers my dad bought around 17 years ago up in the attick. I pulled them out and used them to test my new receiver i got and they actually work. I didnt test the sq of them because I'm not sure their rms wattage and am afraid the turn the receiver up. I tried googleing them, but cant find anything on the company. Any clues?

i never heard of them but if they are 17 years old your probably looking at around 20-40w rms.

got cha. yea,they surprisingly don't sound half bad, but they havn't been used but maybe 6hrs over the 17+ years. I thin my dad said he paid like ~$200 for them back then, so I don't think they're top quality by any means, but they do seem to be built decent. Made out of mdf, not particle board... so thats always good. I'll try to google each individual driver and see if I can find anything more.

well, i finally got some pictures of these sweet-*** speakers...ha ha.

The horn...?

The mid-range...

The incredible 12"....

I think its funny how they put 8 screws in the horn/tweeter, only 2 in the mid range and 4 in the sub. The 2 knobs on the right dont seem to do anything, just look pretty. Don't be jealous guys...

ha ha ha none takin. Yea, I'm not using these, and they def are pieces of something. They're just temporary until i build my half-changs, hopefully tomorrow...

Oh well indeed... Unless those speakers are sprinkled with magic SQ dust, I don't think you are going to miss them much...

I use SQ dust on everything with a spritz of SPL mist. Works wonders I say.
