Notice the lack of packing material. This was exactly how they came.

He tried to blame it on USPS. Flimsy box,... and hardly any packing was USPS's fault,...LOL. The pictures of the whole box were taken right after I opened it. The packing you see,.. is all that there was. Nothing was removed. Currently going through Paypal trying to get my money back. He offered me half my money back,... but uhmm .... NO!!! He said the only way he will give it all back is if I returned them in perfect condition. Notice the Guarantee in the auction!!

Anyway,.. just wanted to vent,.. and kinda warn.

I checked out his feedback,.. had a few negs,... some were updated and wrote off as a misunderstanding with everything being taken care of. Some of them probably could have went either way.

The bad thing about power sellers is half of them don't take time to answer email,.. being good or bad,... because they have too much going on. Not to mention that since they sell so much volume,.. they usually don't care if you were unhappy or not since a negative won't hurt them.

This is the second bad transaction based on shipping that I had. First one (power seller) ended up in a retaliatory neg for me and I'm sure this one will. The first guy didn't see anything wrong with putting a cd cleaner (the actual disc and cleaner) in a plain big envelope with about 7 other things and shipping them w/no packing. Couldn't understand how it got broke. This time, I don't think I was being scammed,.. I do believe the speakers were in good shape when he put them in the box. This still doesn't change the fact that they were damaged due to not being packed properly.

I've been on ebay for 7 years or so,.. sold a lot and bought a lot. I've also been the victim of a few retaliatory negatives,.... and people trying to scam me out of products that I've sold. I try to keep an open mind and check out the negs and the people that left the negs since ebay won't really get involved,.. (won't strip clear retaliatory negs)

I only buy from power sellers
they don't have to be powersellers....you just shouldn't buy from people with few or shitty feedback, like the op did

Some of the biggest powersellers are probably harder to deal with most good nonpowersellers

It only takes $1k a month in sales and iirc 50 feedback(98%+ pos) to be a powerseller. If you are selling items for $50 a piece, thats only 20 items....about 5 a week. Thats not gonna be hard to manage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

I've been ripped off once though and it did happen to be from a powerseller(one day he just decided to quit shipping his merchandise I guess) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.

I don't even look on ebay much unless it's for something harder to find. Most shit on ebay isn't even a deal these days //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.
