ok this is an idea for you technical folks out there. in lots of threads i see ppl saying to use a DMM but if you never used one--its almost impossible to figure out the right way to use it. so one of you guys should create a sticky for us not so dmm savvy people including photo's of a meter.

Umm...not when a simple Google search, or any electronics book will tell you how to do it.

It's simple - measure voltage and resistance parallel to the circuit, measure current in series.

yup. everybodies answer to questions now is search. a lot of people come to this forum not having much knowledge on audio then they obtain and don't feel like they should share it. i know enough about my dmm to set my gains so that's all i care about.
