Digital fuse holder w/ ground cable?

I just bought the tsunami dual amp kit.

The digital fuse holder, in the kit, has the ground cable.

Should I connect it to the negative battery terminal?

either there or the chassis. this is for the display to work.

Are we talking about a full-sized 4ga or larger ground, or just a standard #10 or #12 wire with a ring terminal at the end?

I'm thinking it's the latter, if so, to the chassis would be fine.
