250 for the first is over retail. the 150 is MAP price. Thats no deal! I can get 2 all day less then 400.

I like sound quality, nice deep bass but not too loud. I don't want to be in the car and the person next to me has to yell at me so that I can hear them. More or less a well balanced system

Call DD, it's very simple and they're pretty helpful, the reason we keep telling you to call them is because they're the only ones, atleast that I know about that have the retail prices, they only give price sheets out to dealers and such or unless you're special //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I think you'd be fine with one 1508. I'm doing just one in my Maxima right now and I can't wait to see how it sounds. DD may not even be the sub you want to go with, maybe something like "Image Dynamics" would fit your needs a little better, get decently loud and sound clean doing it.

For a more SQ based interest, and not looking to get overly loud, Image Dynamic 8's would be the better bet imho. And cheaper. They don't take up hardly any room, sound great, and will work well on less power than the 1508's.

I would like to think everyone for the fast responce to my question I think that I will go with the 1508s. Two might be what i'm looking for I might jkust have to save up some more money. I just want a good sounding system that I can enjoy and be proud of without taking up alot of space. Thank you all once again...

Oh sweet. Mine's a 2000 GLE, a little older than yours but same basic style, Trunk layout may be a little different but not much I don't think.

being as dealer is only like $98 a sub .... ( at least used to be not to long ago ) the map isnt much more then $150 after everything.

when i worked for a dealer, we sold them at $145 each for QUITE sometime. after tax and everything!! map is i think like what? $169 - $189ish? $250 is over retail and NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY a 1500 series for more then $130 - $150 per sub.
