digital designs vs L7?

kicker has respectable subs. they will have different sound charictaristics.

DD's build quality and long life is second to none. 3 years down the road when most other subs would prefer a new suspension.... DD still in great shape.

they also kick like a mule. throw in some hard core metal and the DD's will beat you down on the double kick drums.

they take a while to break in. not hours or a couple days. weeks to a month of good usage.

DD's aren't for everybody. but a lot of people, once you're hooked you don't look back.

got daym those are some nice racks...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif f#ck!!!

anyways, for $350, you could get a nice HD3 and get 2 yr warrantee and pretty much the same good service if not better, only downfall is that you will probably have to send in the stuff yourself if something happens and that'll be like $30+ for shipping cus its so heavy, but thats really something you should worry about too much...

You can see by scores in my signature what DD's can do...I run them in all my vehicles...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I use to run Kickers BTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
maybe so, but didn't L5's rack everyone in USACi stock division this year? even the DD users if i am correct.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

there is no 'best sub, some work better in other applications, period. And they sale DD, do you expect them to say another brand is better?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

unless you plan on getting a bigger amp and all that i would stick with the L7s. The L7 is a dang good sub i just moved to DD because i needed a sub that can handle more power but for what you got the L7 is fine and i wouldnt switch to DD unless you were going to get the 9500s or something

if you only have 650w dont even bother....

a 3500 series should get at LEAST 1500w

a 9500 series should get at LEAST 2500-3000w

u cant buy an expensive sub and power it with cheap garbage.....

expensive sub = expensive amp basically...

That is a good price for the sub that you have been quoted. I called up DD directly and they were selling it for $365. I called up another shop that has them in retail and they said unless you are a club DD member the sub would be $465. If you were a member they said it is same same price as quoted by DD, but there are always exceptions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
