digital designs vs L7?

hey i found out a local shop is authorized dealer of DD... i went up there to check them out and besides the funky looking baskets they looks pretty **** nice

i asked the guys what they thaught a good comparison between the DD and L7 would be and they said the lowest model DD would beat the L7... so now im thinkin of picking one up... they have the 3500 series priced at $350 for a 12" but i might be able to throw in my L7 + box to get that price lowered but do you think that would be a noticeable upgrade?

they also quoted me at around $130ish for a custom snailshell for my L7 ... they had a 9500 in one of there snailshell's to show there box quality and it looked **** near pre-fab'd it was so good...

so which would you choose... new snailshell or DD... mind you this will be running off only about 650ish watts in a trunk car

do they do well with lower power though? i would only be able to feed it half the rated rms ... while on the other hand i could get a bigass custom folded horn for the L7

The 2500 Series would probably be the best choice for you.
