I have owned probbaly every dd woofer from the 3500 series to the 9100 to the 9500 to the 9900 series and today DD pushed me past my limit. I had recently sold a BRAND NEW DD9512 to someone and the DUST CAP appears to have a rattle from what he says and hears so I call DD to tell them of thr problem and they say they have nver heard of this before. BS i know people that have had the same problem with the DUSTCAP which is CARBON FIBER, So he tells me some stuff to try so I tell the kid and it is the dustcap for shure. So I call back and they say well pay the shipping here and back which comes out to be over 60 bucks. I think thats BS if the DUSTCAP would have ben mounted right in the first place It wouldnt need to go back. So never the less it will be shipped back to DD. I love there woofers but I will no longer buy any DD products due to the coustmer severice I have had on this sub. I have never had a problem in the past dealing with them but for some reason It has to start know. Im writting this to make you aware of the situation and get your opinion on wether I should have to pay the shipping there and back cause they ****ed up? So know I will use SOLO X" and MT's .

 
Yeah but when my Juddernaut had a bad tinsel they paid the shipping to them and back cause it was there fault. So I would expect DD to do the same. I love DD woofers but I think the customer severiece needs some help and I will not buy any DD products untill it is changed or they pay the shipping there and back.

 
What is the point of all these useless posts? Did he say "give me your opinion on the cosmetics of DD subs"? No.

Seriously though, contact the better business bureau. Companies dont want to have a negative report, they are usually pretty good about taking care of things.

DD definitely makes some good subs, they are really expensive though, and due to that I think the least they can do is pay your shipping charges, if they can't do that they obviously don't care to much for their customers...

 
that's the worst thing about DD..

no matter what happened.... your fault, or their's..... you're paying... lol

and it gets **** expensive to ship big subs to OKC and back..

I blew a coulpe L& and kicker only pays the shipping back. If you read almost every warranty it says not responsible for shipping charges to us. Sorry that you have to pay there and back but I doubt they will care if you complain
