my theory is 6'' port needs to be 6'' off the wall. 4'' is 4'' etc...pretty simple

I figured... Got any ideas??

Actually, with aeros. Since they're round you can do half pipes width so 3" from the back wall at the least

Well good, because I've actually got 3.5 inches of clearance. haha. Thanks... I don't play with aeros much.

This is 2.0 cubes after port and sub displacement, tuned to 40.
I've got three inches to the back of the wall is that enough?... I know I can always add spacers to the aeroport, but I'm going for a clean look.

why do you wanna tune so high? You might as well not even have a sub at that point...

LOL I've tuned DD's low and high and to be honest the 40 sounds better. Just because it's tuned to 40 doesn't mean they won't play below 40 man... The suspension is stiffer than hell... Spiders stiff as hell so DD's protocol is to tune to 40... and I guess if we want to get super technical it's tuned to 38.9....

I would think a 4" port would be fine, and it wouldnt have to be so long.

I've already got a 6" aero... I'm not sure how to calculate port area of an aero... I know they've got a litle more but 6" inches 28.274 square inches.
