See, i got a 256 compact flash II for ~$50 dollars (very very high speed memory) You're camera isn't taking very big pictures if you can fit 500 on a 128. With my camera, set on 3mp and fine, i get ~140 on a 256.
i don't know if i want rechargeable though. That way when it goes dead you can just go to the store and buy some batts quick if you are on vacation. Also don't have to lug around the charge. Say you go on road trip and forget to charge it then you are screwed for the whole thing. But if your camera does not take rechargeables then you just stop at the nearest gas station and you are good to go.
You are right/wrong. Some cameras use a recharable pack (the s410 does) but some use batterys (my A75 uses (4) AA's). For instance, i bought 6 recharable battery's and a 30min charger. I use them all the time. However, like you said, say i am on a vacation and run out of juice, i can still drop in regular 4 AA batteries (if you camera needs a rechargeable pack, then obviously you couldn't do this) This is only temporary since the camera will use regular batterys very fast (camera reccomends lithium batteries since they are better for high drain devices)
Yea i meant camera's that use like AA's or something like that. They could be rechargeable. But what i meant i don't want is one that takes a special battery that you have to also have a special charger with. Like what most camcorders use.
