That way when it goes dead you can just go to the store and buy some batts quick if you are on vacation. Also don't have to lug around the charge. Say you go on  road trip and forget to charge it then you are screwed for the whole thing. But if your camera does not take rechargeables then you just stop at the nearest gas station and you are good to go.</p></blockquote><p></p>
