I have a 2 ohm stable amp, it does it rated power at 2 ohm's, I was told if i want to run one sub i should buy a daul 4 ohm sub, if i want to run 2 subs i should buy daul 2 ohm, well how would i run two daul 1 ohm subs ?

And can i run 1.4 ohm sub at 2 ohm 's ? i read in an eariler thread there was a sub that was 1.8 ohm but could be ran at 2 ohm ?

you cant run 2 dual 1 ohm subs at 2 ohms, the combinations are, 4 (all coils in series), 1 (each sub itself is wired in parallel and then they are wired in series to the amp). and finally, .25 ohms (all in parallel).

You arent running the sub at 2 ohms, you'd be running the amp at 1.4 ohms. You may be able to get away with running it, what sub/amp are we talking about here?

Also, maybe because the 1.8 ohms is so close to 2 ohms, the amp was able to handle 1.8 ohms.
