no reason you cant be doin 50's as you are now......whats your box like?? if i can get a pair of CVR's to do a 153 in the kick 150 on the dash on 2k then you could get that thing up there for sure........every trunk setup ive done has not needed more than 2k-3k for power and it would do 50+ try subs up ports to the driver side........most recent one is a single 12 doin a 150.3 thats out of a prelude and mine was done in my civic

Doing 150db for spl probably won't be that hard in his car. His box is more for music and was tuned a little low. We didn't have enough time to mess with everything so we did what we could. But I'm sure even with the box he has now with some tuning and the two 4" areoports still could do 145db and once he can get some 6" even better. But again that's the music box.

As for subs up that won't work in his car due to his hatch design with the eclipse. We'll have to come up with some other design but we'll figure it out if he wants to go the spl route.

Hell the box that he had did 140.7 with only 1500w. To bad it was at 44hz LOL

The atomic only made 4500 at .35?
What was the rise?

Rise was really low for the atomics at .35ohms and that was really boggling me. And at 1.4ohms the rise was exactly what it should have been for Atomics. And after thinking about it for a while what was mostly causing the low impedance rise at .35ohms was the tuning of the box.

I think due to the ports being a little to long we where loading the subs to much and it was giving us a low impedance rise. The power was reflected with the low impedance rise but there was only a 2 db gain going from 1.4ohms to .35ohms with a 3k power gain. With that info the ports being to long was what was making the subs load to much which in turn not giving us much headway to gain more spl with a 3k power increase.

It **** we didn't have enough time to mess with tuning. We ran into so many little issues that we got lucky just getting the testing done that we did. get rid of the stinger batts. & replace them w/ deka batts. i used to have stinger batts & they were not near the batt. that the deka is. infact you can get universal ub12750 gel cells are 10x better than the stinger batts.

you guys will get it there.......the eclipse is a hatch back then not a trunk?? in my civic we took and built the box heighth wise so there was bout 4 inches between woofers and the trunk lid then tuning on the calc came out round 35 or so for some reason just how my car liked it but we fired the ports into the drivers side of the car......but if its a hatch then the box ive got definitely wont work
