Well I met up with Jeff Brown today, dtbrown is his name on this forum. Saw some nice stetsom 7ks and a couple DD's while i was up there.

Well he reconed my apx 10 and we rearraned the trunk of my car, and got the subs back in. I kept getting bad noise out of my Pioneer HU, who would have thought?

Setup: 2 atomic apx 10s, atomic 5k, two stinger sp1700s in the trunk, 6 runs of 1/0 front to back.

As far as spl goes, i peaked @ 143.18 db @ 44 hz. I knew the SPL numbers werent going to be as great as i thought considering im only using 4 inch aero ports, and the box was designed for street beating, not SPL.

We did some bass race testing, which was the highlight of the day. I was aiming for the 139.9 bracket, and we ended up finding a song that did 139.58 db on the 30 second bass race run.

We clamped the Atomic 5000.1. @ .35 ohm, and it produced a wattage of 4580.4.

I will be doing a few more tests before i compete in July. I will be cutting the aero ports down 3 inches each, and also trying 6 inch aero ports to see the results.

i believe the voltage drop was something like 11.83v? i believe the way it was wired, it only rose 1 ohm, I'm not too sure. I personally did not know how to do the tests. Jeff showed me and pretty much did them.

what type of car? were you hoping for better numbers or is that pretty much what you were expecting?

i wasnt expecting big spl numbers. its in a 03 mitsubishi eclipse. Like i said prior, the box isnt ment for spl, its tuned pretty low. I might end up building a pure spl box as well, just to see what numbers i can pull off. i wanted to build a good street beater box, and it peaked in the lower 40s.

I am running a stock alternator.
