Diamond Audio TM310D2 watts rms??

I have new Diamond Audio TM3 10" dual 2 ohm sub. Sub says 175 on the side. Is it 175watts total or 175 a coil? I've read in forums people say 250rms but not sure where they came up with those numbers. Does anybody know by chance? Thanks

Diamond Audio underrated their subs by a fairly good bit. 175 is total power not per coil. Are yours the black with red logo, or do you have the ones with the silver cone? Either way, they'll handle a lot more than 175w. I wouldn't hesitate to give them 300w each clean.

Those are the "old school" 175w rms subs, which was renamed D1 and power handling changed to 250w. Start them off with 250w and go from there. BTW, those subs would be awesome for a narrow 2 fold t-line.

I buy anything Diamond Audio, so if you ever decide to get rid of them hit me up.

awesome subs for sure. back in the day i loved my cm3's and now i refuse to give up my D6's.
