Diamond Audio or Mb Quart

So, no one has ever tried the Diamond Audio 6.5's? (M361)

No, but I do have 2 sets of the old school MB reference 6.5 comps. They rock.. Are you talking about the Diamonds? Do you know if those Diamonds are going to be better than those MB Quarts?

- What i am saying is that those Quarts and diamonds you are looking at are bottom of the line and overpriced compared to the OZ Vector for the sound quality.

Like another poster said, if you could get into the Quart premium line, or the Diamond 6 line, that would be good.

It's like going to a Chevy dealer because they make the Corvette... but because you can't afford the Vette, you buy a Chevette (economy car). BTW, I've owned MBQ Premium and Discus (Discus is their bottom line, not reference) and I was impressed by both. I got a Discus component set for $80 on clearance at Tweeter. They sounded great, especially for such a low price tag.

Diamonds tend to lack a little midbass. MBQs tend to have pretty harsh tweeters. I'd just look somewhere else.
