Diamond Audio D9?

look at the guys who are so defensive of the tdx/d9. they both own one. they are just bitter because someone who has had their fair share of them doesnt bow down and ignore to their shortcomings. the tdx sounded ok, but it didnt sound musical, nothing like a w6v2 or a treo tsx or even a w7 for that matter. i dont mind going against the ban wagon on this topic, because its like arguing with a blind kid about what something looks like. they being the blind kid have obviously never heard anything better than a mediocre woofer. the tdx/d9 is not the end all be all, and DAT is not god.
No one has made any such claims, Bri.

Only that your tone deaf perceptions of them are inaccurate.

and the diamond freaks are upset //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
I would suggest that it has much less (read that as: nothing) to do with brand loyalty than it has to do with a wish for you to quit spreading misinformation.

Here's a thought for you...

My local Diamond dealer also sells Treo (no slouch in the bassgame is Treo I certainly don't mind admitting)

In his own personal ride the manager of said store chose to run Diamond D9 subs on JBL/Crown amplification. It isn't a display/showcar...it's just his own daily driven Audi. If the D9 really had the shortcomings you're claiming why, then, would someone who had the easy option of running Treo TSXs instead go with the Diamonds?

the argument here is not how good it sounds but

the fact that you bri said it was a horrible sub and had awful musical

sound......it was ineffeciant and garbage when on the contary

your the first person I have ever heard to have made these claims and

I think you should post the set up you had that sounded so horrible?

You dont have to like the sub but to state all the short comings you stated

are sorta ludacrus - Then you claim a 75.00 lower end model is superior to the flagship model,

i suppose the mfg is cluless too....

BTW a TDX and a D9 are identical IE: one and the same......

already said the setup, so re-read or just chill. i never said that the d3 was superior, but it sounds more natural. you are so thick headed. chill out and dont be so butt hurt about someone picking apart your overrated/overpriced woofer.

270 is a good price and should fill your need of bass.

as far as excelerater and bri go, it hink you can argue all day cause ones perspective of sq is different from the others. i think thats how sq works, its what YOU think sounds good. all i can say is that diamond makes some good products and to me they sound good.

the only think i have been truely pleased with from diamond is my d5 1200.1 that runs the bass setup in my boat. i am 100% happy with that product. their woofers, ehh, nothing to write home about just like their components. and their coaxials sound good until you lay on them and their tweeters shut off prematurely.

i like their d3's they sounded good, got somewhat loud. 2 10's in a sealed box. i have their cm3 coaxials in my boat and they do great hold up really well when they get wet (flodded the front a couple of times //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif) havent tried their amps. but i dont push a whole lot of things to the limit so maybe thats why?

i have a d3 12" in my boat with eight d3 6.5"s with a zapco 1000.4 ref and a zapco SP4 EQ. they sound decent, but when you really get on them they cant hang. cant wait until we redo everything again, for like the 432492nd time.
