I have an Alpine CDE-102 and I KEEP GETTING THIS STUPID DC ERROR. I know it's caused by a short in speaker wire because of the ground, but I have rewired them all like four times and even when I take them out until it goes away, there is no sound and the error comes back like 10 seconds afterwards. A solution many people have is to turn your POWER IC option on, but I don't have it! Even in the manual it says that it's in the Setup part but I scrolled through it all over and over and it's just not there. What is happening??

hey my name is mike.. the power ic button is aquired by holding the sound /setup button. there will be the hidden menu to scroll through.. the power ic button only will turn your head wiring off and enable only rca outputs.. there will be a short somewhere or the head is done for. i am currently working on the same problem the dc error is a direct current error stating just that there is a short. if u have questions about this u may contact me 317 658 6142
