Designing vented box without speaker perams

I have two credence 12s, the old school kicker.comps and I would like to design a ported box for.them but I dontnhave the perams. What to do?

Google works wonders u could start there, go to kicker.com and look under products, that'll list all subs out now and somewhere on there they should have a link for discontinued equipment

4 cubic feet after displacement 32-35hz tuning with 13-14 port per cube is generally a pretty safe tuning zone.

what I'm looking for is clean but very loud bass, I've never done a vented box before but have built about a million sealed boxes. i listen to rap, electronic, metal, pop blah blah blah. i don't know what hz to tune the box to and i would prefer a slot port.

if somebody could help me out that'd be great

Top of my head I don't know, but it's an 05 burb. I'd say 4' wide 18" tall 3' deep

so from what kicker recommends, they recommend a 2 cubic feet 40hz tuned box with 12.5 port area per cubic feet which is kinda high with the tuning. I'd say build box and leave the port unglued so you can adjust the lengths to how you prefer your music to sound like. we'll start you off at a safe zone of 34/35hz. You can subtract the length and get a higher tuning or add to the length to get a lower tuning and get deeper bass.

12" port length will be = 40hz

16" will be tuned to 37hz

21" will be 34hz

26" will be 32hz

Thanks. So like I said I've never done a ported box. I'm guessing the subs share the main chamber and the port would exit on the side of the box? Or would it sound better with the port coming out on the face with the speakers or.the rear?

You want the port and sub firing the same location and the port firing backwards towards the trunk. It'll be an L port yes Its a very flexible box with its tuning. If you dont like how it sounds just raise or lower the port length so hold off on wood gluing and screwing down the port, Use some silicone or liquid nails for a seal and temporary hold and test it out and adjust as needed.

75% of port tuning. so 34 x 0.75

Thats for two yes.
