I'm building an enclosure, ported, these are my parts

Amp Soundstream P1.1000D Picasso 1000W Class-D Monoblock Amplifier

Two of theses JBL GTO1214D Grand Touring Series 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield.com

I was playing around online with some softwares, these subs are rated for 34hz, I want to go a little lower around 32hz, here's what I got

How does this sound, it's not final but just a start

38 in width

16 in height

17 in depth

One port 14.5 in heighth ( 4 in width) ( 16 in length)

Creates 32.5fb

07 Ford Mustang trunk (max parameters, most likely need to be smaller)

About 45 in length

25 in depth

18 in height

I'm looking for nice deep hard bass, anod still loudness and good quality

Thanks in advance!

with those dimensions you are tuned to 43hz man you need to account for the space the port, port walls take up along with the subwoofer displacement.. What are your max dimensions you are willing to give up? You'll have a hard time achieving 32 hz with proper amount of port area with your current size.

Tuning 2 Hz lower than JBL's recommendation, which by the way sounds great, is not going to make any difference audibly. Don't forget to account for the size of the trunk opening.
